About Me

A longtime student and practitioner of music therapy, Tunde Krasznai has volunteered her skills as a pianist in a variety of schools, hospitals, and assisted living facilities throughout los Angeles. Between 2014 and 2015, while earning a masters in performance and music therapy at UCLA, she volunteered with the Gluck Outreach Program. There, with the guidance and support of her peers at UCLA in psychiatry, gerontology, neurology, and psychology, Tunde Krasznai performed concerts and provided musical therapy with the aim of improving self confidence, mood, and capacity for verbalization amongst participants. She plans to continue to volunteer her time in the future.

Alongside a masters from UCLA, Ms. Krasznai also holds a masters from the Liszt Academy Budapest where she studied music, music teaching, and music therapy. She continues to teach piano to students of diverse ages, and backgrounds. She first moved to the US in 2008 after earning a scholarship to the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University in New Jersey.

Tunde Krasznai is a member of Deutscher Tonkunstler Verband, an exclusive German association of musical artists consisting of leading musical artists. Ms. Krasznai is A Steinway artist, and is also a member of the Music Teachers Association of California.
